TRAVELLER FEEDBACK :
THE PRE-TOUR COMMUNICATIONS
The communications were excellent, and we were very impressed that the arrangements (confirmation of tour, procurement of airline tickets and travel insurance) were made in such short order. The one-stop shopping was great! The information on the tour (the package) provided was excellent. A friend of mine who is a travel agent said she was very impressed, as were we.
THE TOUR GUIDE
We had the pleasure of having Federico as our guide. It would not be possible to say enough about his qualities in terms of knowledge of CR and ability to find animals and birds including being able to generate animal and bird calls that could not be distinguished from that of the actual animals and birds (and they felt the same). He was also entertaining, fun, engaging and extremely accommodating. Five star plus!
In addition, he has wide experience and knowledge in other areas, a constant source of conversation, information and pleasure. Finally, he took extremely good care of us, going out of his way to make things perfect. [...]
All other boat captains, zip-line operators, rafting guides, etc. were superb. Very competent staff, informed, helpful, knowledgeable and instilled confidence. Excellent and well chosen.
THE TOUR
Loved the entire thing. [...] The range of sites, climates, topography, landscape and altitudes was immensely rewarding. The program was intense but not overly. Always something of interest, but with enough downtime. Very well planned, and the opportunity to see quite a lot of the country And be away from the crowds!
ACCOMODATIONS
Lodgings and restaurants exceeded all expectations. Excellent! Sometimes the term "charming inns" may be a code for tacky, but in all cases during this tour we were very impressed and surprised. Beds always comfortable, Staff were universally helpful, charming and willing to do all to make things go well. [...]
TRANSPORTATION & TRANSFERS
Having a lot of experience travelling in Africa, I was personally shocked and very pleasantly surprised to see the high quality and performance of the vehicles provided. The driver was excellent, as was the vehicle.
MEALS
Food in lodgings was great and varied. Choice of restaurants and meals excellent and our guide ensured that I had extra avocado or guacamole, a particular favourite of mine, at every occasion possible!
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND AMERIKA VENTURE?
It is difficult for me to indicate how excellent this tour was. Everything was perfect and I would have to say it was the vacation of a lifetime. [...] I will do all I can to promote your company and your services!
